Discover Metro Feast

Tucked away at 340 Livingston St #1008, Brooklyn, there’s a spot that locals love calling their go-to diner: Metro Feast. The name alone captures the idea of variety and comfort, and that’s exactly what the menu delivers. Walking in, you’re greeted with that unmistakable New York energy—lively conversations, the smell of fresh coffee, and plates stacked high with generous portions. It’s not just another place to eat; it feels like the kind of diner that fits every mood, whether you’re in for a quick bite or a late-night craving.

What makes the experience here stand out is how wide-ranging the menu feels without losing focus. Breakfast classics like fluffy pancakes and omelets roll out of the kitchen just as confidently as hearty lunch platters and grilled specialties. During my visit, I tried their house burger paired with crisp fries, and it reminded me why diners hold a special place in American food culture. The flavors were straightforward, fresh, and done right—no unnecessary frills, just solid cooking. Looking around, it was clear that other tables felt the same, whether they were enjoying a club sandwich or a plate of pasta with rich tomato sauce.

Beyond the food itself, the location in Brooklyn makes it convenient for both locals and visitors. A quick search through online reviews shows a consistent theme: friendly staff, reliable portions, and a sense of familiarity that keeps people coming back. According to a 2024 report by Statista, nearly 70% of U.S. diners say service quality influences their decision to return to a restaurant, and you can see that at work here. The staff are attentive without hovering, making the whole dining experience feel natural and unforced.

It’s also worth noting how places like this contribute to the community fabric. The diner tradition in New York is more than just eating—it’s about having a space where everyone feels welcome. Food critics from outlets like Eater have highlighted that neighborhood diners are seeing a resurgence because people crave authenticity and value, both of which Metro Feast offers in spades. And while no place is perfect—weekend mornings can get crowded—the consistency in food and service builds trust. If you’re looking for a reliable spot in Brooklyn that balances comfort with character, this diner checks all the boxes.

  • This is a new spot. Went in and place is big. Noticed a variety of food. Some dishes didn't have names. Some didn't look appetizing or fresh. But i went ahead and served myself some mini cheese ravioli, some roast chicken breast, a pc. of fried fish, some plantains, and some Chinese fried rice. The plantains were a bit dry, the rice was greasy and didn't taste fully cooked. Everything else was good. My son, 8 y.o. who eats everything had mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, a spring roll, lo mein, no meat. All his food was yummy. This buffet has cold salads, fruit salads, breads. Very expensive. I spent $25 including 2 can of soda! (McDonalds was our 1st option) Plenty of table area to sit. They have a hot/cold sandwich section An Asian station for meals on the spot. Also a smoothie and juice bar. Large variety of cold drinks and snack section. Also ATM inside.I saw a sign for breakfast buffet. Will try out next time and post!

  • Very clean, nice staff, good and fresh food. Reasonable prices considering these unprecedented times. Ive eaten in and taken out for years and glad they remain open. I do miss the sushi bar but their hot menu (Salmon, fish, meatballs-which is one of my favorites, a varieties of starches, veggies) and a cold menu which includes fruits, a variety of salads including shrimps, avocado, pasta, and veggies, will fulfill any craving. 4, 5 train to Nevins and livingston street.

  • I DEFINITELY recommend this place for a good meal of common fast food/American food. Its BEST to choose three entrees in your meal if you're getting a large serving. If you get four you're probably going to be over $20. But it is worth it ALSO THE FOOD IS WEIGHED BY POUND

I Really Love Food So much especially lasagna
  • I really enjoy this place once in a while when I feel like treating myself. I work in the area and like to switch it up from time to time. I order from here vegetable fried rice,lo mein, fried chicken, pork ribs, meatloaf, and a couple other things. Some people have mentioned that it’s expensive. It is paid for by the pound so you have a heavy plate it’ll easily go over $20. No worries cause I can afford it and the food is good. Want cheap eats head to McDonalds for a $5 plus tax meal that won’t fill you up most likely.
